Staff Association

All staff are welcome to join us on Thursday, October 31 from 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM in Gremlin Hall (Great Hall) for a spooktacular Halloween happening! Gather with colleagues to share a menu of monster eye-talian meatballs and graveyard greens (salads).  Costumes are encouraged.  

Share-It lunches are an opportunity for staff to mingle, catch-up, meet new colleagues, and share a (free) meal.  

All Staff!  Please join us for the Staff Association's fall semester General Meeting on Monday, November 11 at 10:00 AM in the Great Hall.

Hear from our guest speaker, President Wendy Cadge, and get updates on upcoming Staff Association events. 

Hot beverages and snacks will be available.   

This is an opportunity for the campus community to come together socially and to start holiday shopping.  The fair features Staff, faculty, student, and other external artisan vendors. 

The fair will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Great Hall (Old Library).

The Staff Association began in 1974 and is turning 50 this year!  We are planning a special 50th anniversary lunch in the Campus Center Main Lobby to be held in January 2025 over the break.  Stay tuned for future updates.

Any member of the Staff may self-nominate. Due to the time commitment involved, only self nominations will be accepted.  Nominations are solicited in November and elections are held in December of each year.  New terms begin in January.  

Meet up with a colleague to get your steps in for the day while exploring our beautiful campus!  Throw on a pair of sneakers and let's get started.

The Staff Association's End-of-Year Sale is held annually in Schwartz Gymnasium at the end of May.  Watch the Daily Digest for dates, times, and volunteer opportunities.  

The End-of-Year Sale is an annual event made possible by the cooperative efforts of Staff volunteers, Housekeeping, Campus Safety, Athletics, and community partners. Since it began in 1997-98, the EOY Sale has kept thousands of pounds of belongings out of the landfill and in the hands of community members who can reuse them. The revenue from the sale funds the Staff Association’s projects and initiatives for the following year.  A win-win.
